Congratulations to Cindy M. from Fort Smith, Arkansas for winning our Austin Marathon Expo shirt drawing. We chose Cindy’s name from almost 100 entrants who signed up to join our email list and be entered into the drawing. 2/15/2010 First Expo is a Huge Success!
Our first official Expo was a huge success! The response from the crowd was more than we could have hoped for. Word seemed to spread quickly among the runners and other vendors, and we had lots of people stopping by to read all our slightly inappropriate shirts. We had a great response, but more importantly we learned alot about the intricacies of selling at an expo. (For example, there is no such thing as over the top! Buffy’s outfit alone sold quiet a few shirts Saturday.) Huge thank yous to BK, Terry and Mike D for helping us get the shirts ready to sale, to James for helping us set up Thursday, and to Mike D and Leslie for helping us man the booth Friday and Saturday. We never could have done it without such great friends.
2/7/2010 Coming Soon to the Austin Marathon Expo
Hi everyone! We’ll be peddling our wares at the Austin Marathon and Half Marathon Expo this coming up Friday and Saturday (February 12th-13th). This will be our first expo to have a booth at so we’re freaking out just a bit. It’s going to be great though. Come out and say hi and visit with us if you’re going to be in the Austin area!
